Usyk is better boxer & P4P fighter, but he is a lot smaller than AJ & he lacks power. So AJ can over him.

You have to have at least HW power to beat Joshua on top of that ,southpaws are CUSTOM made for Joshuas counter right hand .

Usyk would NEVER have the smart money going on him ,hence NEVER being the favorite !

Unless Usyk defeats guys far easier than he has in his OWN weight class its virtually nonsense to pick him here when also adding a 220 plus or so frame to him WILL slow his mobility down which IS his main strength set perfectly for a 6'3 cruiser weight .

This fight cant be seen as remotley close unless it took place on another planet that had more gravity to weigh you down than earth .
you're saying it like he's Floyd Mayweather or something.

First things first Joshua has to fight Parker and someone else Wilder/Ortiz/Someone else and Usyk do the Super Series first but, This is a very interesting matchup.. Does Usyk dance around Joshua and make him miss while making him respect his hands? Or is Joshua's size and power too much and he bullies and clips Usyk? This could be the fight of 2019! Would buy the ppv.

You convinced me. I'll go with Usyk to win on points. With weigh ins 30 hours before the fight and the weight limit raised to 200 pounds most cruiserweights probably enter the ring weighing about 215 pounds, That's about the same weight as Liston, Tyson and Foreman weighed the day they won their first world title. It;s much heavier than Louis, Dempsey and Marciano ever weighed. He is big enough to get the job done.

              If he could he would.

He's at CW for a reason and he ain't Louis or Dempsey.

i didn't realize usyk was only 3 inches shorter in height and 4 inches shorter in reach than joshua. i still favor joshua but maybe its not quite the mismatch i thought it was when i clicked on this thread

                    Both are MASSIVELY OVERRATED.
This will probably upset some deluded fanboys but it’s just the truth.

A real elite HW would embarrass AJ, he makes so many fundamental errors, seriously imagine what a prime Lennox would’ve done, he’d have a field day with his slow footwork, non-existent head movement, poor gas tank, poor punch variation etc etc. I mean look what a 41 yr old inactive Wlad nearly did😂😂😂 (fortunately for AJ there isn’t an elite fighter in that wasteland division)

And as for Usyk, he’s a good fighter but the comparison’s to Lomachenko are laughable. Loma’s technique and ability is levels and levels higher than Usyks. And as for Usyk moving to HW, he doesn’t have the power or physicality to be successful at HW. He’s also a lot easier to hit than people think. Crude, lower skilled guys like Glowacki and a shot Huck both landed shots on him, even Michael Hunter was countering him and landing right hands.
