Right, but you got to drop your weapon in a slow manner. I am not a fan or supporter of police at all, but refusing to drop a weapon is nearly grounds for an officer using their weapon.

Well yeah that goes without saying, if some guy pulls a gun on you then all bets are off.

The guy in this video was just dumb and maybe high or intoxicated but should he be killed just because he didn't follow orders? Cops could have easily controlled this situation without needing to drill 5 bullets in him.

Too many cops are f#cking nuts, BUT if you got a gun you are upping your chances for something like this going down & if you aren't listening to the cops' instructions while holding a gun its probably a coin flip on you getting shot that day so this cat got what he wanted it sounds like to me....assuming the story checks out which you never know with how corrupt the cops seem these days.
