Cong**** to Mayweather promotions, name one promotional entity that made more money on a single fight in the past 10 years? The promotion is genius because Mayweather took his career in his own hands and went from being a hardcore fans draw to the first billion dollar fighter.

Awful main event for Mayweather Promotions' next card.
Former lightweight world title challenger Sharif Bogere (30-1, 20 KOs), 29, a Uganda native fighting out of Las Vegas, will headline a Mayweather Promotions card at Sam’s Town in Las Vegas on Jan. 27. Bogere will face Arturo Santos (19-8, 5 KOs), in a scheduled 10-round bout. Bogere is 7-0 with a no contest since a decision loss to Richar Abril for a vacant world title in 2013. Santos has lost two fights in a row by decision and is 1-5 in his last six bouts. “‘The Lion’ has made his return and I do not plan on slowing down,” Bogere said. “Prior to my last fight I was working on getting my body back in good health, and my last fight was a great tune up to prepare me for tougher opponents. I have a great team who pushes me. I am still training and sparring with some really tough guys, my balance and timing has improved. Now I am focused on getting stronger and gaining more IQ.”Comment
