If being undefeated meant nothing Lomatards wouldn't have spent the past three years downplaying Loma being beaten by Salido. Being undefeated means nothing so why is Loma losing to Salido such a big deal? If being undefeated means nothing why are Mayweather haters still obsessing over the one controversial he had at lightweight? That fight was nearly twenty years ago and Mayweather haters are still writing articles, making threads about it, and acting like that fight happened a year ago. Ithought wins and loses didn't matter? The **** out of here. Fanboys claim being undefeated doesn't matter because TBE has never lost while your favorite fighter has.

Well, TBE is 50-0. Your favorite is not. Deal with it.

Is Marciano better than Ali? He was 49-0, Ali 56-5? Is Calzaghe better than Jones? He's 46-0 and Jones has like 9 losses and Calzaghe easily defeated him.

      Is the all-time rankings
      1. Lopez 51-0-1
      2. Floyd 50-0
      3. Marciano and Moonsri (still active too soon 51-0 and #1) 49-0
      5. Calzaghe 46-0

      ?

If you say that's not the correct rankings then you are contradicting yourself.

It is very difficult to discuss this on NSB without all the garbage.

An undefeated record means something if you have fought. If you don't know alot about the comp, like Ottke or Calzaghe before Lacy, then you will question the record.

Of course if you hate a guy you will go out of your way to question the resume just because.

True. It's the hate, it makes some fans lose the little reasoning ability they have. Rabid fanboys think, "My fighter is 100% perfect, your fighter is 100% ****!" There's no reasoning with that mindset, except if you're trolling them for a laugh.
Of course an undefeated record is an accomplishment, but the quality of opponent, and at what point in the opponents career did the fight happen are factors that come in to how much of an accomplishment the undefeated record is.

Eubank, Woodhall, Reid, Brewer and Mitchell were not scrubs and I think Veit was considered even money in the first Calzaghe fight. Calzaghe wanted to fight Hopkins (who walked away), Jones and Ottke too.

I'm just saying they were not really respected as much by fans and followers of the sport. I didn't post or imply they were scrubs.

People on this message board are fickle and use anything they can when they dislike a fighter.
