Ive been saying for a long time now that Garcia is a fraud. He had offers for Cotto, Easter, Linares and he ends up taking the easiest of the fghts. Then he doesnt disclose his purses so we have no way of knowing whether hes lying about being offered more for these garbage mismatches. Youd think if he were telling the truth hed disclose what hes making. People would understand more if he said "i was offered 1 million for Lipinets and 700 thousand for Easter" but he keeps everything hidden so in my mind he must be lying about the money excuses. Garcia and Thurman got 2 million each for fighting each other but only get a million for tune ups. Boxers always get more for bigger fights. Why would it be any different with Garcia? Hes a fraud

He admitted it himself by saying Easter might use his height and reach,
something to that effect.
For all of Mickey's talk of wanting to fight the best,
he prices himself out when his bluff is called.
Fans need to stop relying on this guy.

Mikey Garcia is a good fighter but I think he knows Easter is a risky fight to take, not saying he can't beat him. Also AB was tailor made for Mikey style of fighting. He knew all he had to do with AB is throw combos and keep a good work rate and AB would be hesitant to throw anything back. And also Jorge Linares is a possible opponent because he let Luke Campbell give him hell and made him look average. Mikey is making calculated moves.

garcia not necessary looking to fight the most dangerous and best out there hes looking for the biggest possible names easter is no a name yet like broner lipinets is mostly an easier option plus hes mandatory the cotto fight robert didnt want it going from 135 to 154 cant blame the guy for saying no but hes actually been looking at welters he mentioned thurman u know why thurman would be coming off an injury lkayoff hes the right opponent at the right time hat would make the garcia brand grow the broner fight he made it with perfect timing and won cotto was an older guy but still seemed a little to big linares is the biggest named lightweight plus a unification against a guy he would end up outweighing at fight night by like 15 lbs easter would actually be bigger more complicatede and yes could ruin the plan garcia has for he last part of his career i think he wants to retire young with the most money possible he wont fight into his late 30s trust me look at grandpa robert garcia retired young with only like 2 losses so hes trying to get the most out of the last few years of his career cant blame him plus easter will have his day in the sun just not against mikey.

Garcia isn't interested in any fight that isn't going to pay him big money. He demonstrated as much when he was willing to sit out his top rank contract. Easter doesn't provide him the big money big lights fight he wants, and it's a shame for us hardcore boxing fans.
