It's become a bit of a theme with Mikey Garcia but he's a bit of a protected species these days and he's never at fault. He does a lot of barking but an equal or greater amount of quacking. His "reasons" are covered up though.

At this point I couldn’t care less, if Garcia fights Nomas then it’s why not Linares, if he fights Linares then it’s why not Lipnet, if not why didn’t he fight Easter! Lol there is always someone moaning and crying.

MG is acting like a superstar without even beating a top p4p fighter !! Money got to his huge head in the last year just because he is beating small men and a shot/ drained AB !!! Knocked out a tiny DZ at 135 but scared to fight R Easter says money ain't right for the risk . This guy thinks he is in the A level elites . The other day I was watching his brother RB breakdown the BJS beat down on Lapuke when they baske Mikey what he thought of the fight he said I didn't watch it . When Robert was giving Billy J some much props he was getting pissed it was funny . Anyone wants to check it out it's on YouTube .. like my title says ****ing Diva at least money and ward backed it up and never quit a fight due to injury !! Tough gets going Mikey starts calling not fair my nose is broken can't breathe !!! ***** stinky dry one !!

This guy is fighting in a high school gym on Bounce TV. It's easy to say he wanted the fight and would accept any offer after the fight wasn't made to look good. Pretty much Easter wouldn't agree to the purse Showtime was offering to fight Mikey and Lipnets did.

I would have liked to see that fight next, props to Easter. Mikey should handle his business & get that 4th title, move down to 135 & unify the division in 2018. Linares sounds interested Easter sounds interested make that Shyt happen
I wouldn't say Mikey is ducking Easter, heard him saying in numerous interviews he wants unify 135.
The cash and the legacy of being a 4 division champ is enticing

i can tell you're a garcia fan, bc u bring up the oh so relevant, 4TH TITLE..lol u guys cant hide it he's a let down.

mikey is showing that a lot of the bias behaviors that many ppl had to other fighter were just fraud behaviors

I'd be fine with Lipinets if it just happened but a little tedious to call out Cotto then decline it, call out Linares then decline it, call out Easter then decline it and then choose Lipinets. Lipinets has had a dozen fights, barely won a vacant title and has no fan base. I'd imagine the figure would have been equal for Easter and perhaps better ratings and gate no to mention another title in the division he says he wants to unify in.

Just a coincidence that it's the smallest draw and most straight ahead style. I like it better than the Figueroa match though I'll say that.
