This is exactly spot on. Dana White has no real clue about what the UFC is potentially getting into - matchmaking in the UFC is easy, all those fighters are contracted centrally, they just have to decide who fights who.
Boxing is completely different - who he wants his guys to fight doesn't ****ing matter unless there's the other party signing off on it. The UFC needs to monopolize the industry just to "maintain" working relationships with other organizations (and by maintain, I mean strong-arm or simply not do business with). How they plan on cracking the boxing dynamic is a mystery.
