Screw the big networks. I feel they are part of the reason for boxings lack of exposure.

Dana white was a genius with the 'UFC on fox" stuff. We already affiliate fox with the NFL, it was easy to slip in UFC and get a similar audience.

He should push for ESPN, CBS, or fox

Wouldn't White know exactly how many it sold being McGregors promoter and him getting paid a percentage of every PPV? Unless he's claiming Showtime robbed them.

Showtime is likely right, and Dana White is likely right too.

The US number for the ppv was likely 4.3-4.4 million US homes, but the fight likely topped 1.5m PPV buys in UK/Ireland, with the fight being PPV in Australia, Canada, and few other PPV markets.

You figure that the technical difficulties ended up costing them a couple hundred thousand buys, and you're already well over 6m PPV buys (at different price points) on just the US/UK/Ireland.

If Showtime is trying to stiff you on money, then show the proof, publicly destroy them and sue them. Seems like a spoiled rich guy crying over something silly. It's also dumb to eliminate CBS/Showtime as a potential entity bidding on your fights. You have to be a business man, and Dana did not handle this situation correctly. Totally disagree with his position here.
