Yeah Trout was boxing circles around him but kept getting sloppy and tried out power punching the much, much bigger man. Lara is way more slick then Trout and wont try and out slug him at times. Easy UD for Lara. 7 rounds to 3. Maybe 6-4 one one card...

The dude's built like a tank isn't he? Yea, he literally just wore Trout down and imposed his youth and size. I doubt Lara sticks around for that to happen. It looks like Jarrett wants him tho. And so does Ernesto...

This is what champions do! I don't know if Hurd can get the job done, but it's good to see someone call out a champion WHEN THE CHAMPION IS AVAILABLE! Too many fighters (Lara included) call out people once they have already agreed to fight someone else! SALUTE to Jarrett Hurd! Lara vs. Hurd! Make it happen!

I hope to see it happen. I don't think Lara is a thrilling fighter to watch but he's an elite one. There's a lot of potential outcomes here. Lara is forced to duke it out like the Angulo fight and we get a great two-way fight, Hurd is taken to school or Lara gets old over night and can't keep Hurd off. I'd lean towards Lara in a good fight after an early lead is built up.
