I remember Ohara saying that he remembers getting boo'd for nothing and then just ran with the villian role. I mean, his tweets causing him to get pulled from the card was ill-judged and insensitive but otherwise i find his trash talking (i.e giving it back to the Liverpool crowd who weren't saints) hilarious. It's good for boxers to have some kind of personality but don't overdo it and get personal.

By G do you mean goon or gimp? They're the only things that come to mind when Broner gets brought up.Comment

He might be a goon as well, but I meant he's a gangster.
Not a mafia type gangster, but a guy who hangs around bars, nightclubs and bowling alleys, with a gang of buddies, getting in fights and beating people up over gamblng debts type gangster.Last edited by kafkod; 01-04-2018, 09:24 AM.Comment

Davies is just a bit dim, that's all. Extremely unintelligent actually.
I don't think he has any real malice in what he says though, i just think he thinks it's all trash talk and isn't intelligent enough to know when it's beyond the norm.Comment

You saying Broner a modern day version of this guy then?

I can see why people go down the 'villain' route in 2018. It can sell. But you need more to your game than just that. Plus, you need to be good at it. His trash talk is terrible.
He annoyed people so they wanted to see him lose. Taylor handed him his arse and he quit, now people don't care about him enough anymore for him to be relevant.Comment
