So, he won't fight Lomachenko until 2022 but he won't move up to 147 so what's his real plan?

I hope he goes away again. Tired of his fake call outs and tailor made mismatches.

I feel like Mikey is sort of lost and confused right now. He's all over the place. Wants Spence at 147, no Loma until four years from now, might sign with Dana White, but wouldn't sign with GBP for Cotto and Linares fights. Now it's stay at 135-140, but fight who over the next 3 or 4 years? Easter? Flanagan, Beltran? He's going to run out of no-hopers quick.

I missed him when he was inactive but I'll be honest I miss him as an inactive fighter and wish he'd go back to being out of the game. I gave him a pass for demanding Gamboa and claiming he was being ducked only to himself be offered great money for said fight only to turn it down.

He's very inconsistent with his words. Seems willing to sign with a promoter who's openly said he won't work with Showtime, won't work with GBP (HBO) or Top Rank (ESPN) despite saying he will not sign with a promoter. Turned down the #1 guy at 135, won't fight the #1 guy south of 147, arguably the whole sport for another 4 years and now despite a week ago saying he wants Thurman and Spence next year he's saying he's sticking to 140 which is a bit of a wasteland or Linares (who he's turned down already) or Easter (who sucks).

I see a lot of blown potential with Mikey. He initially frustrated me with his weight bullying. But now he is all over the place and has no clearly defined goals outside of trying to earn higher paydays. He is his own worst enemy right now.

He'll end up a bit of a disappointment IMO. I expect bouts of inactivity, underwhelming opponents and never really becoming a big draw and then an unexpected loss somewhere down the line. I don't expect any super fights or pound for pound opponents for him.

He reminds me of Donald Curry in some ways. Curry had an extensive amateur career and was thought to be the next big thing after Leonard. He had a few decent wins but, he suffered his first loss to a guy he should have beaten and it went downhill from there.

A guy that gets hit unnecessarily won't last that long. Not too hard to understand but I would expect it from a guy who misspells words on purpose.
