He has a major size advantage at 135. Mikey needs to be at 140 or 147. He's picking on smaller guys at 135. He needs to challenge himself.

You have to remember, Mikey was a career featherweight and fought as low as 123, so he is challenging himself. I don't think he can do 147.

I can understand Robert's take, but I can't imagine the money doesn't get sexy enough at some point for Mikey. So yea Mikey's record would probably look prettier if he never goes to 147, but thats where he'll earn the most money to buy the most houses for his post-boxing life so I suspect its happening, its just a matter of when.

I don't think he does. When he was up at 140 fighting Broner, he looked tiny. He's the same size, if not smaller than, as Easter, Linares, Crolla, Commey, Beltran, etc.

Yep. I think its an optical illusion almost cuz he gots that giant a$$ head. It can throw u off a lil bit, but if u just look at the body size he's similar looking in size to them since moving up.

And yea Broner did look a lot bigger. I was surprised how much & even doubled down on my hindsight being 20/20 set my money on fire bet on his do nothing a$$.

Do you even watch boxing? Bob Arum has been putting on the biggest matches in boxing for the last 50 years. He is all about the money which means the big fights even if it means risk for his fighter. Garcia on the other hand is content cherry picking easy matches and not fighting any elite competition. You have to look at the facts and not the hype
