What is the logic in pointing to a ranking system owned by HBO's lead promoter as some sort of independent or unbiased set of ratings? Why wouldn't you instead use TBRB?
Oh yeah, the Golden Boy influence ranked Parker #3

I’ll keep it simple. If Parker is a “legacy fight”; you don’t have a legacy whatsoever. Hearn/Sky are pathetic

Legacy fight lol.... The end of the article basically said that Parker had two lackluster performances in 2017 BUT Parker-AJ "promises to be fireworks"..... That doesn't make sense at all. Unless the definition of lackluster changed this year

This win does not compare to deontay wilder beating a luis ortiz or a primed #2. Hw in the world bermane stiverne ; when you add the other highly ranked opponents that deontay has faced with a 40-0 record how can anyone take these clowns serious?

Stiverne was still #2 second time around .. seriously WBC rankings are a joke and he's the only ranked opponent Wilder has ever fought.

.. and no he hasn't fought Povetkin, Ortiz or Andrzej Wawrzyk .. lol .. remember that one .

You're missing the point. Once the rankings were literally purchased by HBO's lead promoter, why would you pay attention to them anymore?

Since purchasing the Ring titles & rankings, Golden Boy has invented new rules that have nothing to do with the lineal title and selectively enforced those rules to benefit HBO whenever possible and damage SHO whenever possible.

Why do you think Tyson Fury is still the Ring champion even though Tyson has broken all of Ring's rules? He announced retirement, he didn't fight the Ring mandatory, he didn't fulfill the Ring's activity requirement, he didn't fulfill Ring's drug testing requirement, etc. Why is he still the champion? Because it benefits HBO to prevent SHO from crowning a lineal champion and Ring is able to still fool people into thinking the Ring title is the lineal title since a lot of fans aren't aware that HBO's promoter owns Ring now and made up a bunch of new rules. Not to mention all of the ratings advisory board defections over the corruption, hence the establishment of the TBRB.

You can't just point to one random instance where the bias isn't clear to write off the countless examples where it is. Anybody still pointing to the Ring ratings is perpetuating the problem. They are not independent ratings. They are owned by HBO's lead promoter and it's confirmed the ratings have been interfered with, which is why so many journalists publicly quit Ring and outed them for the corruption.
