A lot of these UK guys would sell out a big arena in Belfast if they had a big fight in front of them. The people over there get behind their fighters. That's something I love about the UK - Mayweather and Ward have both mentioned this.

Ricky Burns was a star in that region as well. He was pretty limited as a fighter, but if you are a champion you have drawing power over there - especially against another big/name fighter.

Then again, i can't see him landing fights that easily there unless he gets a mandatory shot. Nobody even knows who he is, i doubt Hearn or Warren are going to bring him over to fight their champs. He would the ultimate high risk - low reward right now. He's barely going to sell a ticket in the UK.

They would probably rather bring someone like Ryo Akaho over if they wanted a Japanese opponent. It would make no difference to sales and a much easier fight.

I really think he could have had bigger fights at 115, at least hbo might have had a bit of influence in match making for their superfly cards.
2 years later he still hasn't fought the best at 118 unless Donaire was the best lol. Tete already lost to 3 lesser opponents so if he's the best at 118 then Inoue definitely ducked the guys at 115 to fight weaker opponents.
