Comments Thread For: Wilder Admits Both He and Joshua Could Hit The Deck in Shootout

WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (39-0, 38 KOs) will not be reluctant to trade big power shots with IBF, WBA, IBO champion Anthony Joshua (20-0, 20 KOs). And because he plans to get in there to fight power with power, Wilder openly admits that both he and Joshua could end up hitting the floor before the contest concludes with a knockout finish.

Nope. I predict the first one to fall will get finished off by the other.

Wilder better turn his focus off Joshua and on Ortiz. Wilder & Ortiz will more like hit the canvas but only one will make it up. Do Not take Ortiz lightly. Wilder better try to keep from hitting the canvas against Ortiz. Why do you think Joshua has been avoiding the likes of Luis Ortiz. He knows better to fight Ortiz. If Wilder dispatches Ortiz with finess, no Joshua fight.

Ortiz age of 56 is finally starting to show. il give Wilder some credit if he beats him but Ortiz isn't the same guy that fought a few years ago and i suspect that's a big reason why Wilder and his team are willing to take the fight. Very slow and lacking athleticism all the skill is there the body just can't execute it quick enough anymore.

Wilder and Joshua are such different people and fighters. I think Joshua needs to focus on what is in front of him, and stay away from trash talk. He doesn't seem the type of person that responds well to distraction or accusations. He just needs to zero in on a goal and shut people up by handling his business.

Wilder is completely opposite. He seems to thrive in the spotlight, excel when he has a few pokers in the fire. His best performances have been when so much controversy follows him (or more honestly when he stirs things up). He is almost Mayweather-like in this area. The more he gets people talking about him good or bad the happier he is.

My point? I actually pity Luis Ortiz. Wilder is stoking his own fires and actually getting more and more attention. His name is making the rounds, and he is loving it. He at least thinks he is in the heads of his future opponents, and he eats up being the villain.

So while I hope the Joshua/Parker fight gets signed soon and Joshua gets in a camp and gets off twitter and on to training for a unification fight as that is when he seems most at home, I think trash talk is Wilder's way of giving himself a break from training and he needs to do it.

Let the games begin. 2018 could be a great year for the Heavyweight's.

Wilder saying this is proof that he's very scared of Joshua. Joshua isn't the one who got KTFO with head gear on...

Beyonce knows the Joshua fight is a cash out...

Ortiz, Arreola and Stiverne, etc. They all have in common a very obvious similar trait...

If we were conducting a logic test, and I posed the names: Ortiz, Arreola, Stiverne and Joshua - who would stand out there and why?

Joshua got dropped by Whyte and stopped by an Eastern European with headgear on. He also got knocked out by Price, and dropped by Okolie and Dubois in sparring.
