Ortiz age of 56 is finally starting to show. il give Wilder some credit if he beats him but Ortiz isn't the same guy that fought a few years ago and i suspect that's a big reason why Wilder and his team are willing to take the fight. Very slow and lacking athleticism all the skill is there the body just can't execute it quick enough anymore.Comment

I don't know if it's a cashout, but it's easily his toughest fight so far. And yes he is deeply concerned. Wilder fans will scoff, but they (should) know this is no guaranteed W for their guy. Not by a long shot.Comment

Wilder knows his best chance is to knock Joshua out before he gets knocked out himself. He can't box with Joshua despite his height, reach and speed advantages, we saw that vs Washington. Joshua would jab him and pick him apart in a boxing match where Wilder's defensive flaws would get exposed. Only chance Wilder has is a punchers chance.Comment

Wilder is a KO waiting to happen.
Those straw legs just won't recover from any heavy blows landed by AJ.
Wilder can take comfort in the fact that 1) He will never be cold in Alabama with his collection of furs and 2) Joshua will remain humble in victory.Comment

True, Washington never had the power to really hurt Wilder and so it's a much bigger risk for Wilder to just go for the KO vs Joshua than Washington. Especially as Joshua is a much better counter puncher and we've seen that Joshua can turn fights around with his power when needed to, so Wilder will be really running the gauntlet by taking the fight to Joshua, though it's still his best chance.Comment
