Anthony Joshua beat the #9 heavyweight to win his world championship.

It's actually Joshua who clearly had the softest route to the title. Why are you lying about such easily verifiable information?
Going by the Transnational rankings YOU go by ....

    1 Anthony Joshua
    2 Deontay Wilder
    3 Joseph Parker
    4 Kubrat Pulev
    5 Alexander Povetkin
    6 Dillian Whyte
    7 Carlos Takam
    8 Jarrell Miller
    9 Dominic Breazeale
    10. Tony Bellew

Thats right Ortiz isnt even ranked . Wilder is fighting an unranked fighter . What kind of champion does that ? That answer below.

Well lets break down Wilders ACTUAL Championship reighn by YOUR criteria,....

1st title defense . Eric Molina .Ranking : NOT

2nd title defense .Johann Duhaupas .Ranking : NOT

3rd title defense . Artur Szpilka. Ranking : NOT

4th title defense .Chris Arreola .Ranking :NOT

5th title defense .Gerald Washington. Ranking : NOT

6th title defense . Bermane Stiverne .Ranking : NOT

    Luis Ortiz ...NOT RANKED !

THATS RIGHT ,WILDER HASNT FOUGHT ONE RANKED OPPONENT SINCE WINNING THE TITLE ! BY THE TRANSNATIONAL RANKINGS YOU GO BY

You fool ,once again burying yourself on here .

At least Wilder stepped up to the plate and accepted the challenge, where AJ is doing his original ducking and dodging, AJ scared of a real fight

Ortiz was ranked above Wilder until failing the drug test. He was removed from the rankings after the failure. We would be fine with Wilder refusing to fight someone caught cheating twice, but the haters insisted Wilder should fight him anyway. So he is. And yet, the haters still aren't happy.

It's the illusion of chasing Joshua. Anyone can call a fighter out, but if you have unrealistic expectations (50%) then you are pricing yourself out.

Then again claiming Klitchko doesnt count as a top win for Joshua over the top Wilder one bc ACCORDING TO YOU , he wasn't ranked, its blatantly obvious you are clueless about the sport !

But hey Joshua fought unranked Klitchko bc he felt the need to satisfy the haters , right ? Just like Wilder is doing to the boxing conqueror Ortiz right ? No difference in that situation at all right ?

Once again burying yourself on here ,excuses and all. .

Wilder a true warrior taking on all fighters & looking to fight the best.Unlike Joshua who's ducking Wilder with every excuse he could find..

Let's be fair, it would make zero sense to unify with Wilder before unifying with Parker. You save the bigger fight for later.

If 2018 ends and Joshua still hasn't fought Wilder, then you can fairly cry duck. But crying duck now is being a bit trigger happy.

Agreed, just shows how uninspiring the HW division has been for over a decade that fans grasp the first hint of activity and expectations go through the roof
