is that the same kind of beating that kovalev was gonna lay on him twice or are you talking about a different kind of beating?

Kovalev beat him first time round.

Low blows won it for Ward 2nd time. Weeks spoiled the fight, and robbed Ward of an untainted victory.

But all that is irrelevant. $4 million is 4 Million. And he will probably earn more than that.

Now, is it worth Ward risking his health and his record?

Ward doesn't think so, tough fights for him, so he pulls a ducking move of retiring.

Lot of tough fights at light-heavy and Ward decided he doesn't want none of that.

Anyone who got those 2 outcomes (garbage decision + ref calling a low blow a knockout) would feel like they won the lottery twice

and would get out while things were still held together with duct tape & elmers glue.

Has nothing to do with Bivol nor is there any need to speculate.

The beating would be something different.

More body work and thudding punches.

Ward's bailed out because he couldn't handle the tough fights

If you had a choice of making no money or making 4 million for two fights you know you can win, what would you choose?

Im a pretty big Ward hater but let’s be real, he came, he saw, he conquered, he retired with money and a fully functioning brain. He ain’t scarred of anyone.

Dang man, this has to be the most serious case of sour g****s ever. Froch is so so so so so so bitter about getting handled by Ward.
