Then again, even if Wilder obviously didn't know, "half human, half hybrid" is technically correct. It means: half of him is human; the other half is hybrid.

In percentages, 50% human, 25% each two other components.

That makes sense, if one studies the case enough instead of running to the keyboard without knowing what they're talking about.

We can look at the technicalities all we like, but Wilder ****ed up and shouldn't have uploaded the video. Or, he should have just cut the trash talk and just kept the sparring in there.

Once you say you are 50% anything, the implication is that you are already 50% something else, thus becoming mixed or a hybrid.

If he had started off by saying "I'm a hybrid - 50% human..." then that might have made things easier for him.

Anyway, dude is a boxer, not a literary scholar or some ****, so I don't hold the goof up against him.
