Naw playa, Travers mouth wrote checks that his ass couldn't cash...Hopkins moved up to 175lb and Traver was out of his weight class....Bottom line playa, Traver talked too much ****...he only beat Roy...He was forced to repect last night because Hopkin simply took it...

I agree, but i've seen alot os Tarver's fights, and the guy can really fight. But for everyone to be saying he was never good, is a bad statement. and detracks from what BHOP accomplished.

Why is everyone hating on Tarver. The guy had a bad night, and BHOP had a great night. now everyone talks as if Tarver has never been good. He is 37 years old, some guys age faster than others. I'm not sure what his problem was last night, but he just wasn't throwing. In the 4th and eighth rounds Taver actually threw a few combos and won those rounds easy. Not sure why he didn't do it the whole fight, but thats on him. But for people to be calling him a bum, is just crazy, u can praise one guy with out downing the other.

i wouldn't have made a difference, it was just the fact that HBO wouldn't show that clip at all. Tarver not comlaining was an indicator that he was not in the fight at all. he was just there

no doubt he was GOOD..not Great..the guy was a self proclaimed legend killa....he beat roy and Glen....he talked about being the greatest inseat of going and seeking out the best to first...he sat on his ass, waited for B Hop and got whipped...

cuz he's arrogant and he smoked rock. Age faster? Tarver started boxing late, he has plenty of steam left. That's what makes it such a big victory for Hopkins, then again, Tarver never was on hopkins level to begin with and on paper, tarver was at a huge disadvantage from the start.

this fight kinda remind sme of Foreman/Ali. it's not that foreman was sorry and overrated, like most said after that fight, it just shows what an exceptional fighter Ali was, as does this fight show what an exceptional fighter BHOP is. Foreman and even Tarver are great fighters. ALI,BHOP,RJJ,and Sugar Ray Robinson are just on a whole nother level, and BHOP proved that last night.
