He was a lightweight fighter that is 142-143 fight night, and barely put on a pound in the welterweight. He came in 144 in the JMW. And comes in at 143-145 at Welterweight since 2009, he came in 138.5 something at 140. So the answer is, that he is a weight jumper than comes in light.

Translation: Pac is exempt...a "jumper" who magically hit 147 twice in 2012 whose opponents weighed lighter...
Pac just magically calibrated himself at 147 but fought at 143 on fight night...

But Canelo who started at 15 years of age just like Pac has to be criticized with fault even though he started at 140.

Did you get bored with starting threads trashing GGG and decide to start some threads trashing Pacquiao for a change? You have so much hate for some very good boxers and you let it all come out here. The boxing writers voted Pacquiao fighter of the decade. They didn't share your low opinion of him. Ring magazine and ESPN have GGG pound for pound number 1 so they don't share your low opinion of him. Loma is number 1 on many PFP top 10 lists and Kovalev is in the top 5 or 6 on most lists. You have been trashing all of them overtime. Either they are wrong about these boxers or you are wrong. My vote is you. You are a hater hating on some very good boxers for what reason I don't know. You put in a lot of work trying to convince others to hate them as much as you do.

Yeah, there is a big difference of a guy a who is 5'9 with a heavy build and a guy who started at at 98 pounds 5'5 with a light build.

Pacquiao beat Cotto at a catchweight, it was his second fight at welterweight and has yet to weigh in below above 145. And then defended them at full 147. And you misinterpreted what I'm saying. Pacquiao back in the lowerweight comes in at 142-143 fight night since he is a true lightweight/Super Featherweight, those are his best weights. Then he had grown on to welterweight but not by much, basically a pound or 2.

Canelo's 155 on the other hand....

lalin....its a futile endeavor....these guys will never admit anything and keep trying to throw wrenches in every argument that they can with "but but but".....its really sad these guys can just man up once and be like "you know what u right....ive been bashing some fighters and i really shouldnt have ...im going to start giving out more respect to guys instead of trashing them and maybe you will do the same"?

Like I said, he came fight at 143-145ish range (whatever you can add a pound or 2 or even more.) Since that's what he always weighed in even back at lower weights. So weight jumping isn't much of a problem.

Pacquiao fought Oscar a year before the Cotto bout...Oscar is significantly bigger than Cotto...

So why did Arum make Cotto give up 2lbs?

Shady stuff.... I wonder how much Oscar gave in to keep quiet in that nondisclosure...145...right...
