Doesn't change the fact that he was the #2 or #3 heavyweight in the world when Wilder dominated him.

The Wilder haters would be easier to take seriously if they didn't constantly try to rewrite history.

The WBC also has Whyte number 1 and Breazeale at 2 ...im pretty sure the ENTIRE forum knows they are not the guys to beat at HW right now as Stiverne was NEVER either .......

If Wilder defeated Whyte do you really think he LEGITIMATLY beat the best available guy bc hes ranked number 1 ?

Stiverne doesn't even have a meaningful win . Not much to rewrite here the fact is Wilders best wins would be Joshua wins in his own WBC not including Ortiz .

39 fights 39 bums pretty much sums his career up. No matter how you spin it. AJ fought and beat a first ballot HOFer in his 19th fight. We still waiting for Wildher to grow some balls and step it up.

Get outta here if AJ was African American you would be all on him but since he isn't you gotta downplay what he has done lol.
So because he is african american that's the reason u give him so much flack....... Same **** said about his resume etc......AJ fighting Parker.... Is his resume jumping off the charts. If resumes wins fights then Wilder's belt should be a walk in the park right........ Why the stalling, why fight parker first? **** goes both ways. No matter the outcome Real Boxing Fans regardless of their fav fighter wanna see that fight. Happy New Years!!

Not at all simply saying fans such as Pan Africanist and several others discredit anybody who is not African American. Perhaps you need to learn how to read correctly. I give Wildher flack that is well deserved. Based on his 39 fights with only 1 former champ on his resume is awfully weak, tiny fan base and very poor actual skill. Look at AJ has a first ballot HOFer and soon to be 2 former World Champs in 21 fights. Gold medalist and can BOX. Happy New Year to you too. I would love to see the fight but 50% split even you have to admit no ****ing way that is fair.

We're not talking sanctioning body rankings. We're talking TBRB, ESPN, RING, etc. Stiverne was a consensus #2 or #3 when Wilder beat him for the title. So when people say Wilder has never fought a top guy, they're lying. It's actually AJ that has never fought a top guy. His big win was a very very inactive old fighter who hadn't won a fight in years, so he was not a consensus #2 or #3 guy heading into that fight.

Obviously even a faded Klitschko is a much more commercially significant win than a prime Stiverne. Nobody is questioning that. But what's being questioned is trolls insisting that Wilder has avoided top competition. It's simply not true. Did he immediately seek out the absolute toughest opponent immediately after winning the title? No.

But neither did AJ. Neither did Parker. Each of them took a couple gimmes. Standard procedure. And we're not criticizing AJ or Parker for that. We're simply calling out the hypocrisy on the standard Wilder is held to, especially considering he signed to fight Povetkin & King Kong and they both pissed hot.

If you blatantly ignore reality, sure. But on planet Earth, where we use facts and logic, your statement is ridiculous. Because you can't label the #2 or #3 heavyweight in the world a "bum."

Good for AJ. Great win. Very happy for him. That doesn't allow you to lie about Wilder.

Charles Martin was given a IBF title shot he won Let that sink in. Arguably among the worst of HW champs. So If you still following alphabet soup title rankings it shows how clueless you really are. Just looking for a way to justify Wilder lol. What has AJ done since much more than Wildher than lifting titles from worthless "champs"

Not sure why you quoted us. What you wrote had absolutely nothing to do with what we wrote.

It is a perfect example of how rankings for said belts are a joke. Same as you if you choose to follow. Look at the records. The speed which one is moving. While windmill Wildher having trouble packing casinos lol and fighting no hopers. Meanwhile AJ beating HOFers ij front of 90k. We talking stadiums lol
