  • Why Floyd envies Lomachenko

Insiders know that Floyd Mayweather's biggest regret of his life was falling short of winning an Olympic Gold. Despite his later successes, he could never erase the shame of failing as an amateur.

Lomachenko not only won Gold, he won it twice.

Loma has already surpassed Floyd as an amateur, and is on his way of doing so as a Pro, and is beloved by the fans and his dad (which floyd secretly craved his whole life).

Floyd envies Loma, he is everything floyd wanted to be, and is the one man destined to surpass him!

its his natural reaction to be scared of elite prime fighters. even though hes not fighting anymore and not in the same division as loma, hes living through tank and doesnt want him to lose like he never wanted to lose so he will simply avoid loma.

He'll never pass Floyd son. He can keep his gold medal and amateur record. He'll never ever come close to breaking Floyd ppv, live gate and actual fighting record. He's already 0/3 there lol. Floyd never lost to anyone with nearly 15 losses. TBE i know it hurts. Go check boxrec all time great list Loma will never make it..

Tbe not scared of anybody son. They were all running scared when he was at 135. I don't blame them though. Yall just not use to having any great fighters so when one comes around yall swear everyone is scared of them lol. Kobalev, GGG, McGregor, Fury, Loma, Rousey. Everyone is supposedly scared of them.

the first two just arent possible to beat since he is from ukraine. if you look at the demographics in boxing its no surprise floyds popularity caught on. even a bum like broner has a very large following due to the same demographics. what im saying is popularity does not equal greatness. some people are born in the right place at the right time. like trump. as far as his fight record. thats pretty weak for floyd so he has a good chance to do that. hes already fought about as many prime threats.

hmmm thats a strange statement to make.

HBO and Mayweather promoter Bob Arum prefer that he take a higher-profile, more competitive fight, ideally vs. former two-time champ Stevie Johnston. But Mayweather and his manager, James Prince, have balked.

"No one can communicate with Floyd," Arum said. "It's like talking to the wall. I said 'Fight Stevie Johnston.' Floyd said, 'I don't want to fight him. He's a bum.' "

Arum said it was "likely" HBO would simply bench Mayweather and give his date away instead of arguing over opponents. "They're not going to put up with this much longer," he said.

i dont blame floyd for ducking the slick fighters and fighting slow face first brawlers. they suck right?

a resume is not made up of numbers but of names. preferably prime names. i know you want to keep it as vague as possible because when asked for floyds great prime wins you cant really come up with any. this is why you have to rely on numbers and pointing out how many losses people have because this favors the established entitled guys who were helped along and saved from fights that should be losses like castillo. all and all if you look at floyds fights as a career...disappointing. lomas only had 11 fights but its already well on his way to passing floyd. he might get derailed by fighting better opposition than floyd did but thats kind of my whole point. taking it easy is not the road to greatness but the road to mediocrity.

A prime Jason Sosa Gary Russel Jr Walter and Jose Ramirez lmaoooo I see the bar is set really low in this era. 30 years old 11 fights and 1 loss, man get outta here, he couldn’t pass Floyd with a jet. He hasn’t faced a fighter under 30 except Russel Jr. so not sure what you’re talking about

I don't like Floyd but I don't think he envies anyone, he's worth 3/4 of a billion dollars.

Loma has already surpassed Floyd as an amateur, and is on his way of doing so as a Pro, and is beloved by the fans and his dad (which floyd secretly craved his whole life).
Loma will never earn 1/10th of what Floyd made in his career.
