Dual citizenship is a thing. Look it up.
Anthony Joshua only boxed for Team GB because he got rejected by Nigerian officials.

Who cares? No one is holding a gun to his head to fight for GB. lennox won gold for canada and then fought for his home country england. AJ could fight for nigeria but he doesn't want to. Same as the irish fatman whose jizz you would swallow daily if you could. Fury is a gyppo who could fight for ireland but chooses to fight for GB. No one gives a toss.I find that very surprising, never knew until just recently.
He wanted desperately to box for Nigeria at the 2008 Olympics. He had a chance, but he acted like a prima donna and wouldn't attend the trials so more experienced boxers were selected. After this he basically ragequit and went with Team GB after having a tantrum.
He spent the majority of his first 13 years living in Nigeria. He classes himself as African. He has African tattoos. He went by 'Femi', the most Nigerian name out there, most of his life. And he speaks the Yoruba language fluently, and apparently often in his private life.
The guy is sold to the British public as the biggest uncle Tom. In reality he is a Black supremacist who identifies as African. You couldn't make this stuff up but it is hilarious.Comment

Nice post! Peace brother! Forgive this old man! What's your point? That he isn't British because he can speak a second language? I bet he speaks better English than you. Plus, having spent time in and out of the gym with him, I havent once heard him "fluently" speak Yoruba once.
Even if he did, so what? Being multilingual is great. Plus, I've never once heard him being called an Uncle Tom, which is a word used in the US and has zero relevance in the UK.
I could go on but you seem ******ed.Comment

Because he had no chance of getting in the 2008 GB team. He only started boxing in 2007.
Jealousy of the yanks on show again.

It's pretty clear he isn't as clean cut as he would like people to believe, his image has taken a beating as of late. It's not surprising that Ali is his idol he seems to share some similar views in regards to race, even sharing a video of a speech by Elijah Muhammad with his mother on social media. People where willing to overlook some of Ali's more unsavoury beliefs and traits and I'm sure Joshua fans will likely do the same as long as he keeps winning.
Boxers are as flawed as any other people. Tyson was far from perfect. Bowe kidnapped his wife, assaulted opponents outside of the ring, Holmes famously launched that flying kick, Holyfield had countless children out of wedlock with mistresses, Wilder strangled that stripper. This of course doesn't mean we should just ignore any transgressions Joshua makes, but people shouldn't fall into the trap of putting boxers on a pedestal and expect them to be perfect human beings and accept they are flawed and when these stories come out not to dismiss them due to blind idle worship.Comment
