Anthony Joshua only boxed for Team GB because he got rejected by Nigerian officials.

You are being very bias in the way it is wrote "having a tantrum", but it is partially true. He could have fought for Nigeria, his dad is Nigerian. But also remember that Joshua only started boxing very late in life, at 2008 he would have had barely any chance of winning anything in the olympics, he had fought even in amateur less than six months at any point of consideration. furthermore the setup in the U.K Is far better than Nigeria and he was based in England so able to be viewed far easier. I understood (although I haven't heard anything direct) he was considered for 2008 at both U.K. And Nigeria but neither wanted him but he was almost fast tracked for a 2012 in the U.K.

Having said that Joshua has been very open that he would like to fight in Nigeria (and other countries) at some point. In fact if the money was sufficient I think he would have done it by now, would be surprised if we get to end of 2019 and he hasn't fought in America and at least one other country and Nigeria (or nearby country) being the most logical.

How is it biased? AJ is on record himself saying he was immature back then and didn't have the right mindset or behave accordingly. He thought he would be viewed as some kinda superstar in Nigeria, just because he was based and trained in the UK.

Well I haven't seen anything as such so please share interview if you have it as it would be interesting to watch. But as I said above he only went to his first local boxing gym in 2007, a year before olympics begun so realistically fighting at Olympics within a year for any country is a big ask - he clearly wouldn't have got a medal doing that. His first proper tournament as such was in 2009 when he lost to whyte, then he represented gb I believe in 2010. His life before boxing is well documented, he expected to have gone to prison if his cousin hadn't have taken him to the boxing gym.

Who cares? He ended up fighting for GB, winning a gold for GB, and is representing them as a professional. Nothing is wrong with embracing your roots. To me is seems multiculturalism scares you.

He spent the majority of his first 13 years living in Nigeria. He classes himself as African. He has African tattoos. He went by 'Femi', the most Nigerian name out there, most of his life. And he speaks the Yoruba language fluently, and apparently often in his private life.

The guy is sold to the British public as the biggest uncle Tom. In reality he is a Black supremacist who identifies as African. You couldn't make this stuff up but it is hilarious.
Who cares what he identifies himself as.
Dude is a beast in the ring, makes entertaining fights, and packs stadiums. He could say he's martian and people would still want to see him fight.

I don't think there's any question that AJ isn't authentic

Hes playing the cards that are dealt are far as making maximum $ and fooling the public , which you can't knock but The public persona of AJ seems like a far cry from the actual AJ

Stop pretending to know AJ, it got old a couple of years ago when you first started trolling. After you admitted to trolling, nobody is buying it.
Damn Willy you ethered all of A.J's fanboys with this thread.

Lennox Lewis was Jamaican too. Native British seem to not be up to par.
