It was reported last week that a possible bout between Carl Frampton and Nonito Donaire could be happening on April 7th in Belfast. Frampton, who began this year by losing his WBA featherweight belt in his rematch versus Leo Santa Cruz at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in January, got a tougher-than-expected tussle against Horacio Garcia on November 18th, where he had to shake of a trip to the canvas in the seventh round before winning a ten-round verdict.
