And if there's still a draw, go into overtime, 1 more round. 1min 30 sec lol
I like this. There should never be draws. Fight another round.

Imagine how many dope "round of the year" nominees we could get.

both guys see fight is a draw, get a nice little rest to go 1:30 of all out. and no 10/10 bs either. each judge would need to put 10/9 for one guy

Make it a full round. Max out the entertainment value.

To me the 10-9 is the problem. You get the same score for dominating a guy clearly as you do for edging a 50-50 round with little action.

Imagine in basketball you win the 1st quarter 37-14 and lose the second 16-17 and at the halftime the score is 1-1 ??

Since judges don't get paid a lot, use 7 of them and then drop the 4 extreme scores. All judges should view the same TV monitor, no audio, in a sequestered room. No more ringside judging.

I'd like to see live cards so that **** can't be tampered with at the end of a close fight where it takes 10 mins to get a result.

I don't think it'd make fighters 'switch off' even if they are ahead on a complete white wash cus that's when the ko would come.

Best thing is not having to involve the judges or ref at all. Put your man down with a vicious body shot, he can't get up in 10, no controversy, and no brain damage.

                Agree.

Simply score knockdowns only. If a ref makes an error, e.g. trip counted as a knockdown, use the minute break after a round for three judges to review replays (that everyone can see) to confirm or overturn the call.

The sport really needs this type of transparency to eliminate scoring controversies. It's bad enough that the best fights rarely get made.
