If Vegas overpays for the fight, then that could happen - sure... You could be right.

I'm only speaking on the most logical business move... If the division were stacked with popular US fighters - I'd be the first to say that Joshua should come to America... other than Wilder, who is out there? It'd be a one and done in Vegas with a risk of having low US PPV sales - hurting the UK PPV sales and having low attendance. It's a huge risk and there is no return investment other than if there's a rematch in Vegas.

Unless Hearn believes that Jarrell Miller is some kind of future star - seems like Tyson Fury, Breazeale rematch, Andy Ruiz, etc. all those fights would be bigger in the UK because none of them are US PPV fights.

The fight CANT happen next bc Wembley isnt available until summer where they want it to take place .

It would take months to get Wilder down to negotiable terms so grabbing another belt is the only option right now to continue to unify the belts .On top of that Wilder HAS to take pay cuts if they were to have the fight in Vegas next .

That poster you are arguing with is a moron !

I actually think ortiz will beat wilder if the fight happens. I also think Parker will be a tough fight for Joshua. I think Joshua wins but I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar to the klitschko fight. All these arguments on here might come to nothing.

If you scared Wilder, just admit it.

its going to be hilarious when the fight gets made for vegas and all of these guys will have to contort and twist their stance yet again....all of these guys swearing vegas makes no sense to explain why hearn hasnt even tried to make this fight now...will have to move the goalpost again in due time

these guys can give me all the wilder viewership numbers and purses...and the ward/kova ppv numbers all they want

each situation is different....this fight is big when/if it gets made.....this situation is unique to itself.....but these guys want to compare every other fights numbers to it and swear vegas makes 0 sense....like i said...gonna be funny to hear them in the future

As an AJ fan I hope and think he smashes Parker comfortably. I also think he is a level above Wilder.
That said, if Wilder beats Ortiz then he deserves his shot.
I actually don’t care who gets what split now, AJ is not exactly short of a few quid is he and I’m not sure why us fans have been drawn in to the financial side.....I’d just like to see them fight.

having the fight in the US is not going to hurt UK ppv sales at all and you know that.....those guys will watch at any hour

like i said...ive spent a couple of big weekend in vegas with those UK folk....they were up saturday morning at 6 am crushing rolling rocks and heinekens in the mgm sportsbook watching soccer like a bunch of hooligans....that some funny hour would stop them from watching is nonsense

and the fact that wilder is the only US heavyweight that brings any interest is more of a reason for AJ to do the fight in the US and makes wilders side worth at least 35-40 percent........because no other US hw offers this opportunity

id venture to say that having it on US ppv, worst case scenario, doubles the PPV revenue ......id be willing to bet money on it too

I have no problems defending Wilder's resume, but he absolutely has been pricing himself out for last 2 years. He should have taken the easy ass Whyte fight for 3m last year, got some exposure to UK crowd and then taken the 35%.

His demands of 50/50 and fight in the US is dumb as ****. He'll never get anywhere close.
