One link is from 5 years ago and Oscar has admitted that they weren't interested in fighting Golovkin because Canelo wasn't ready. The other link refers to a voluntary fight which they just had. Everything was negotiable as the article said. So what's the problem. Golovkin gave in on money, a rematch clause and I'm guessing location and he got the fight at the weight he wanted.
