what don't you understand about that ?

bouts: if a fight is not held at the full divisional limit, it is referred to as a catchweight, and there is nothing new about that

imho, they are all fake..... catchweight fights are bullshht

I do not care if I never see another catchweight fight ever

a bout where one fighter has to drop weight (like Chavez, Loma/Rigo, etc) just becomes a circus-show because..... 1) the result will never be definitive.... 2) the bout will never be relevant to divisional supremacy

    fk catchweights

same with Canelo at 155..... he was fighting JMW opponents 1lb over the limit, which made little/no difference..... but he should have been more professional, and he should have had more respect for his JMW opponents..... who were not drained in any way, but they may not have benefited from that extra pound as much as he did

why the fk do you clowns need someone to paint you a picture?

you are literally painting by numbers, and still fk'ing it up
I was talking about the fighters, but I see how you read it that way. Floyd and Canelo were fake for fighting at the catch, as was Pac for many of his fights, along with Cotto and Khan. All fake

I don't know. Well have to ask abputfkntime if that applies to offered that never come to fruition. I guess it would be classed as a fake offer

GGG never demanded anything from Ward. He answered a hypothetical question from a reporter - "50/50 money and weight would be fair"

It's a shame Ward wasn't that fair with Chad Dawson.

FACT: Golovkin promised to fight Canelo at 154..... but when it came time to step up, he totally refused to negotiate on weight..... Golovkin then stated that he is willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody will step up

you can;t make that shht up

that fight was there for Mr " anyone from 154-168 ", but he shat the bed over weight
Show me where Golovkin promised Canelo a fight @ 154. Hint: his trainer saying that he'd fight anyone from 154-168 was intended to get some bites. It was NOT a promise to fight anyone in particular.

So what is 155lb it can't fall under CATCHWEIGHT because that's not a division, boxrec says its MW, ABC says its MW, he fought for the MW belt against cotto, he has held the MW lineal title since fighting cotto, but your smarter than everyone in boxing, So what DIVISION Is 155lb. remember now that you can't say CATCHWEIGHT because we have established above that CATCHWEIGHT is NOT a division

                    So which is worse?

GGG making a fake offer, Ward having a fake fight at 172, or Canelo and Pac having fake careers?

were those catchweight fights relevant to divisional supremacy?
