I have no idea who would have won if they fought at 155...would the fight have happened a year and a half earlier? Gbp and Canelo called himself the mw champion...why would the fight happen at 155 anyway? He could have Just moved back to 154 and not faced ggg. Instead he pulled a stunt by vacating the wbc belt so he could still have the fight sanctioned while limiting ggg's weight and no doubt still call it a mw championship fight. The whole thing was lame...glad he finally just moved to mw and made the fight.

my " special " criteria is the word..... " genuine "

FACT: genuine middleweights do not weigh-in at 155

sorry, but I think you are a bit clueless about weight

it is amusing that you could not/would not, answer those questions.... because it makes it rather obvious that you are trying to get your client off on a technicality

and..... Canelo would have beaten Bull****kin at 155, for no reason other than the weight

is anyone else up for the muppet challenge ?

      * why did Golovkin totally refused to negotiate on weight with the SUPERSTARS Cotto and Canelo...... despite happily offering a catchweight to no-hopers like Rosado/Brook?

      * why did Golovkin state that he is ready and willing to fight a JMW at 154, if only someone would step up..... AFTER refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto Canelo?

          " considered "

          such a casual-fan word..... just like " technically "

how the fk does " considered " help him in a fight ?

what the fk difference does .1lb make ? lol

this thread is all about tagging the muppets/alts

The lower limit of a weight class is equal to the upper weight limit of the class below it. So if you weigh above 154, you fight at middleweight.

              It's a very easy concept.

Everyone knows that. Those arent the points being made. Gennady had hit above 160 in two fights in 2008. Is that to say he was a Super Middleweight in 2008? Of course not...

I find it quite funny that you ask questions which clearly contradict YOUR definition of terms. If you truly believed that "genuine middleweight " garbage, you wouldn't be asking about weight.

What criteria would Golovkin, or any other fighter, need to be considered a smw?

" middleweight is 160.... this is boxing " ~ Gennady Golovkin

take the muppet challenge, answer those 2 questions
My question was where do you draw the JMW line. Is it 154, 155...159? I assume 154 makes you "genuine jmw", what is the term for 155?
