I started the thread sheep***er, the only criteria is trying to get through your thick head that at 155 you are fighting in the MW division so you are considered a MW, you have agreed 155 is in the MW range but your too ****** to face facts, don't start telling posters what the criteria of the thread is because out of all the posters you are the farthest from meeting any criteria knobjockeyyou mean..... what was Canelo's official weight AFTER he stated that he is moving up to middleweight?
FACT: this WHOLE thread is based on the fact that you ***tards ran around calling 155lb Canelo a middleweight
NOBODY ever mentioned Chavez
the only criteria for this entire thread was..... pre-Smith
read the WHOLE thread again, starting on page 1, dummyComment

Yes, JMW ends at 154. What begins at 154.1, then?
Is it
A: Middle-weight
B: Middle-weight
C: Middle-wight
D: All of the above.Comment

No it's a CW fight within the MW division so it is still considered a MW fight, hence cotto and canelo fighting for the MW world title at 155lb, it is so ***ing simple isn't itIf the contracted weight limit is 155lb then its not a middleweight fight. But if the contracted weight limit is 160lb it is a middleweight fight because neither boxer is restricted to weighing in below the middleweight limit.
It's so ****ing simple it's hilarious that 234 pages are wasted arguing about this.Comment

Funny you say that. Based on your thousands of posts in this thread, one would swear it was all about Golovkin.you mean..... what was Canelo's official weight AFTER he stated that he is moving up to middleweight?
FACT: this WHOLE thread is based on the fact that you ***tards ran around calling 155lb Canelo a middleweight
NOBODY ever mentioned Chavez

But please, don't let me stop you from calling a guy fighting above 154 a JMW

If the limit is 155Ib for the day before weigh is that a middleweight fight? The sanctioned weight determines the division, not the contracted weight.
The WBC made that clear in statements they made about Cotto vs Geale and Canelo vs GGG.
The sanctioned weight for a MW title fight is always 160. Contracted weights are a separate, private arrangement between the fighters and their promoters.
It cannot be.
The weight limit for the day before weigh in must be 160lb for it to be a middleweight fight.Comment

i stopped when you wrote "fighting at 155 while campaigning at 154, you are seriously ****** sheep***erI have answered every single excuse..... ooops, I mean..... question..... that you muppets have blurted..... ooops, I mean..... asked
you are not referring to kafkod's PED dribble, you are referring to the other dribble in kafkod's post..... right ?
this dribble ?
the reason why Canelo fought at 155, when he was campaigning at 154
..... is the exact same reason why he fought at 150, when he was campaigning at welter..... BACK IN 2010
BACK IN 2010..... when you guys were not whining, and crying like little girls
you guys were not whining, and crying like little girls, back in 2010..... because you did not need an excuse to justify why lil'G shat the bed over weight..... like you did in 2016
if you don't like this justification, then take it up with Chepo..... who stated on multiple occasions that the reason why Canelo fought Jose Cotto at 150 in their "welterweight" fight back in 2010, is because making weight was becoming much more difficult for Canelo, so they decided that he will only make 147 for big/title fights..... Reynoso said they made that decision in an effort to "preserve Saul's career"
which made all of you " 155 is middleweight " clowns look pretty fkn ****** when you ran around calling Canelo a middleweight for two years only to watch him win the WBO jmw title off Liam Smith
you may not like the reason, I may not like the reason..... but there it is.....
* lame..... YES
* unprofessional..... YES
* disrespectful to his JMW opponents, who may not benefit from that extra pound quite as much as he does..... YES
* does that magically turn him into a genuine middleweight..... only if you are an excuse-making muppet who cannot handle another Ward debacle
that is nothing but a petulant whine
FACT: you would have said that he was ducking Golovkin
it is ******ed to suggest that Canelo can make 155, with testing..... but then be unable to make 154, without using PED's..... it is 1 fkn pound, get a grip charlie
excuses are like ass-holes, everybody has one..... and you ass-holes have got plentyComment

He has the height but not the weight. In boxing there are weight-classes, not height-classes.
