who will be rememberd more ,

delahoya "if" he beats floyd mayweather

    or

hopkins and his dominating performance over tarver ???

thats basically what it boils down to because delahoya beating mayorga doesnt really say much ...

De La Hoya with the public.

Hopkins with the boxing analysts, you could argue.

I'd say Oscar because if he beat PBF he would have beat the current P4P champ and Mayweather's legacy will be better then Tarver's. The only thing I would say is that Hopkins beat a fighter who is bigger (Tarver) and Oscar will have beat a much smaller fighter in PBF. IMO history would probably remember Oscar's win more especially if PBF goes down as an all-time great.

de la hoya, but hopkins deserves to be remembered more, almost 20 years of dominance at middleweight. hes beat Glen Johnson, Syd Vanderpool, Trinidad, DLH, Tarver, and i believe that if he had another shot at jones he would win, and that he should b remembered as better than jones.,

Hopkins is the legend of the two...DLH will be remembered because golden boy productions is going to be around for a long time....so I go...the ex-con that dominated the MW class for years, BEAT DHL, and eventually went on to win the LHW championship of the world......Bernard Hopkins
