Youve answered your own question, Mikey Garcia. Russell Jr , Walters amd rigo were all considered A level before lomachenko whooped them. People forget how many people tipped Walters.

No one, because once he beats them they get discredited right after. All you heard ever since Loma went pro is that hes ducking Rigo and that rigo would beat his ass even though he is smaller. Now that Rigo got sonned its like hes a total bum.

Same will happen when he beats mikey, mikey will all of a sudden be overrated and not a real challenge.

A level fighters don’t grow on trees. If you’re lucky maybe 2 will fight each other over the duration of ones career.

GRJ was A level? That's news to me. He's fought 2-3 relevant fighters in his 30 fight career.

Hell there was a running joke about GRJ always being versus TBA.

Walters was a very solid B fighter and Loma absolutely dominated him.

Rigo was an A fighter, but smaller and older.

Mikey is the icing in the cake

basically this ^. Its unbelievable how the rigo win has been revised when it was basically the fantasy match up that everyone wanted to happen

Apart from Garcia, it's pretty slim pickings around 130 and 135. Maybe if Verdejo can get back on track with some wins, that could also be interesting. Apart from that, he may have to head to 140, but even then, there aren't many big names.
Lol Verdejo is not that great

                Good post

It's a fact that Rigo was in his prime and they just can't accept that

Any day now Rigo will be in the HOF and then they'll all have nothing to say

                  Stop it

Loma moved up to 130 and was on a tear with stoppage wins at the weight.

Rigo was an A level fighter but barely active, older, and smaller. These are objective truths, despite that they seem discredting in your view.

Anyone who thought Rigo was going to win deserves to be laughed at but it doesn't mean we should pretend it was the biggest win ever.

It was a good win, all things considered. And with the rest of his resume being as it is, I would say Loma is P4P #1 but let's be real about the quality of victory Rigo is.

It wasnt the biggest win ever, its just that loma haters really wanted that fight to happen badly because they swore rigo would still beat him. But that obviously didnt happen now and he is getting zero credit. Same will happen if he beats mikey.

Yeah. I guess I am just grasping at straws with Verdejo but who else is there? Is he going to have to go to 147?
