Stevens needs to retire lol if he was fighting as high as 168 and is now going down to 154 they better make sure he can physically do that with no problem.

Boxing is filled with prospects getting knocked out in the first round after looking good at stellar competition. But strong chinned fighters getting knocked out cold are rare.Last edited by Thraxox; 12-24-2017, 11:55 AM.Comment

he knocked out Lubin, an un beaten prospect in the first round, big deal, Lubin was never hit in the chin power and never had proven that he can take a punch, Stevens on the other hand is, he took big shots from from big punchers but he was never knocked out, till Lemieux hit him on the chin. And I'm not even sure the Charlo twins can win against Lemieux.Comment

What hype train? His hype train took off the moment Rubio knocked him out. Me being unsure of Charlo's beating Lemieux is entirely on stylistic match up. The charlo twins are not some defensive master, nor are they mobile, they are right infront of you.Comment

You're right in your assessment of the Charlos but I would pick them against Lemieux because he's not good. Both Charlo brothers are defensive enough to avoid Lemieux's punches. He's very predictable and slow. He does the same moves over and over and has no defense himself. I can understand being uncertain with the Charlos and any of the top MWs but not against Lemieux. That's an easy one to predict.Comment

Put a fork in him, he's done folks!
He throws very punches at a weight he's comfy at and now they expect him to perform better at a weight he's never been in?
He should've hired that Algieri diet plan when he drew with Rosado an moved down, now it maybe too late!Comment

Good move for Stevens. I think his height/reach at MW was a disadvantage for him. If he can make weight and perform at JMW, more power to him. If not, let him be a gatekeeper/litmus test for the Charlo/Hurds of the newer generation of contenders. Besides, losing prize fighters still get paid right?!Comment
