Those fighters have to fight each other to create a new 'attraction' at 160 lbs. Winning or losing , Golovkin would chase the big money fights or he would retire, with or without those belts.

If Golovkin retires, then he retires; with Golovkin only really hitting the money in his last few fights, I doubt he and his camp walk away just yet, tbh.

After Canelo, maybe it's just the cynic in me, I'm not sure how the buying public reacts to a belt-less Golovkin (especially with do much of Golovkin's being about him being champion).
