... None of the fighters you've mentioned have an actual championship, so what are you talking about?

Charlo has the mandated WBC title shot, Derevyanchenko has the IBF title shot, Murata has the WBA title shot, Billy Joe Saunders has the WBO title, and Jacobs and Andrade have multi-fight deals with HBO (after Alvarez-Golovkin 2, HBO still needs viable options for the only weight class that they've invested real money into showcasing).

Golovkin can't duck live opposition forever; after getting his second check from the Canelo lottery, he's staring down the barrel of about a half dozen peaking fighters, looking to give his old self the work, and he can't duck that smoke (unless all of the fighters do something ******, like lock themselves into a tournament, to then free Golovkin up to chase nonsense like a Rosado rematch "since no one is free to fight).

ggg wont have a belt after the canelo rematch so hes going to have to fight someone good to get back in contention. i see canelo dropping most his belts and keeping the one that has the easiest mandatory. the others will be up for grabs

What excuse will Andrade have NOT to take this fight this spring?!?! I can’t wait to hear this one. Only a possible fight with Charlo might trump this opportunity and Charlo’s already committed to an upcoming fight so that’s a slim chance. Guess that leaves Jacobs if he truly wants to face a top quality opponent that is currently available and not contractually bound at the present time. GGG, Canelo, and Saunders are out of the question. May as well face the music and climb in with the Dev man.

Alvarez keeps the WBA belt, Charlo gets the WBC, Derevyanchenko gets the IBF.

The break-up happens, but that likely leads to better fights in the division, lol.

He definetly isnt keeping the WBC. I dont think theyll just hand it to Charlo though??? Probably male Jacobs/Charlo fight for it or GGG/Charlo. Its about the $$$.

Charlo vs Centeno Jr is for the interim belt and, no different then how Golovkin got the WBC and WBA belts, Charlo gets elevated to the full championship.

Those fighters have to fight each other to create a new 'attraction' at 160 lbs. Winning or losing , Golovkin would chase the big money fights or he would retire, with or without those belts.

Yup. It depends. If Golovkin loses badly I see him retiring. If the loss is debatable I see Golovkin moving up at 168 or try to have a third fight with Canelo.
