It's a big fight that can be made and you have Al Haymon involved who has shown he can work with anyone.

It is the best and most lucrative fight available to him in early 2018 and he is finding reasons not to do it.

Now, you can explain why it isn't a duck but you have to do better than this.

      It's kind of a duck.
In the same way as Bradley ducking Amir Khan.
But in hindsight that was a very good decision for him. He got a fight against pacquiao and earned very good money in the fights after.

It's funny, PBC fighters bring no money, no fans, no promotion, but they all want to call the shots. And when a champ like BJS refuses to bend to over to them, it's ducking.

Jacobs should take whatever bone Saunders throws him. As.long as he goes 12 rounds he can claim it as some sort of moral victory like he did against golvokin.

You have no idea what he wants because everybody's starting offer is always going to be ridiculous. That is how negotiating works. It doesn't reflect what he'd actually take to do the fight. But even if he wanted 10 million pounds to go to Brooklyn, it's not a duck because it's a voluntary defense and no amount of money makes it a duck. If Jacobs wants the belt, he can either overpay for it, or, he can go to the UK.

And what you wrote about the onus sounds really cool but that is exactly what he did with Lemieux
So you should be praising him for having already done it, not criticizing him for not wanting to do it over and over. He took a calculated risk to gain leverage and now he's in the driver's seat with anybody not named Canelo or Golovkin.

and his purse was only 1 million dollars plus whatever they scrapped up from Canadian PPV and a 10,000 seat arena.
You have no idea what his purse was. He likely retained the UK TV rights.

He'd get more fighting Jacobs in Brooklyn, no doubt.
And Jacobs would get more fighting him in the UK than Jacobs made for his last fight. So?

He should be scared. Jacobs will kick his ass.

BJS is in the drivers seat right now. DJ is standing at the bus stop thumbing for a ride. DJ should be calling out Andrade/Drevenchencko and eliminating the competition for another title shot instead of acting like a deadbeat bum begging for an undeserved shot at another championship payday.

This is like the 3rd or 4th post of yours recently that I actually agree with. It must be a sign of the coming apocalypse or something.......lol

He knew he could beat Lemieux but he is not confident of beating Jacobs who is bigger, taller, much faster and far more skillful than Lemieux. He is never going to fight Jacobs. It takes a courageous true champion like GGG to fight Jacobs. The rest of the top middleweights like Andrade, Jermall and Saunders don't want to fight this big fast, hard punching, skillful middleweight.

Bjs is ducking jacobs in the way that poor people duck turkey on Christmas instead opting for the chicken stuffed with garlic nonsense. Caleb is the proverbial chicken stuffed garlic in this.
