Horn will be stripped of his title if he ducks to fight the mandatory Crawford. Maybe a good idea, he can't win, so get some money fighting Mundine and move up in weight.

As someone mentioned earlier the Mundine fight will always be there. Crawford is widely considered p4p #1 so a loss against him wouldnt ruin the Mundine fight. However if they fight Mundine first after Top rank and Espn gave him a Pacquiao fight and let him fight Corcoran on Espn, he might get stripped of his title and then Espn wouldnt show his fights anymore. And what if he somehow loses to Mundine? That would certainly ruin his chances at a Crawford fight or a Pacquiao rematch

Jeff Horn is a very average boxer and a FAKE JOKE champion
Crawford would end this Aussie dream but fast. Granted Horn is great for boxing and could be a ratings star but Horny is just not that good. Easy to hit and average and slow. Kangaroo Land is in for a huge cry. Bring up Crawford fight in Australia and watch.

Horn will never defend this title outside of Australia. I keep saying it and so does Horn. He's a home made phenom and now he can't make weight. He'll drag his feet and fight Mundo then give up the title, get stripped, or lose it on the scales. I look for the latter. He'll get Crawford into Australia, come in 10 pounds over. Lose his title, survive 12 rounds, get another shaky decision, and remain undefeated.Last edited by Corelone; 12-24-2017, 12:27 PM.

Can anyone confirm for a fact that Horn is allowed one more optional defense before his mandatory with Crawford? Horn's camp seems to state they can but the press release by the WBO announcing Crawford as the mandatory seems to say otherwise.
