I feel like theirs sometimes levels to avoiding and avoided fighters. Sometimes it is purely business and sometimes it's who needs him and then you get the Sonny Liston's of the world who come knocking on your front door and won't go away till they get what they want.

A good example of an avoided who needs him type, for me, would be somebody like Mike Hunter.
