This getting pedantic, and reeks of sour g****s, not to mention childish. Ner ner ner ner ner! I'll be on T.V before you!
Having said all that, I do think it was a case of Lemieux having an off night as well as Saunders employing the perfect strategy- it wasn't completely a Mayweather duck and run, but it wasn't far off.
Lemmy needs to work on his footwork, body attack and cutting off the ring rather than excuses.

I miss Gatti. He was certainly, and without doubt, the human highlight reel.
His wife should be locked up for life the b^^ch.

The guy was special and great in his own way.
And more skilled (when he wanted to be) than he gets credit for. His murderous wife should be enshrined in the international boxing hall of shame.

          2. Get a new trainer to actually work on his jab and footwork and setting up power shots vs boxers.

Once those things happen, I'd definitely like to see him back on HBO. Lemieux vs Chavez Jr would be a good fight at 168.
In other words, Lemieux should probably relocate to California, Las Vegas or some other hotbed where he can possibly improve some things & consistently find better sparring partners. I appreciate the boxing scene in Quebec, but he's just spinning his wheels. Unfortunately, Lemieux is probably as good as he's ever going to get, but he'll still provide exciting fights against the right kind of opponents.

Lemieux is a bum. Marco Antonio Rubio, Joachim Alcine, and worst of all, Billy Joe Saunders. How pathetic. And this bum is Golovkin's 2nd best win at a weight he's fought at for 12 years? Sad.

Is the glass half-full or half-empty?
On one hand, Saunder's effectively employed defensive movement, footwork, and accurate punching to completely befuddle & dominate Lemieux over twelve long rounds.
On the other hand, a more skilled boxer would have used his movement more efficiently, taking far fewer steps, and seized the opportunity to stop Lemieux as he began to become increasingly off-balance, bloodied, and visibly dejected. It seemed like Saunders could have stopped Lemieux, making the fight seem as anti-climactic as it was one-sided.

With all the denials Lemieux is fast becoming the Roy Moore of boxing. He was embarrassed in the ring and now he's embarrassing himself outside of it as well.

Congratulations to Saunders on the victory, but he didn't really do himself many favors when it comes to marketing himself to a new audience.
To be fair, that much movement is out-of-character for Saunders, and it was obviously motivated by the threat of Lemieux's power. But who's to say he wouldn't flee around the ring from Golovkin in a similar unappealing way?

But then again, HBO has been making some baffling moves lately. Who knows what they'll do.

..... who cares about fatass casual fans ?

let them enjoy their cheeseburgers, while we eat steak

oh right, I get your point..... they did not enjoy their cheeseburger

Its all in the eye of the beholder. You call it "defensively", most who know this game described it as a "clinic" a "masterclass"!!
Try watching Jeff Lacy v Joe Calzaghe.

                      I do.
Also from the buzz the day after and to this day most would love to see this "British cream puff" that most knowledgeable boxing people now see as a credible player in the division.

Congratulations to Saunders on the victory, but he didn't really do himself many favors when it comes to marketing himself to a new audience.

BJS made about a 1.5 mill to come to the challenger's back yard to put on a masterclass. From here on its going to be hard to get him back in the ring for less than 1.5 mill. Most fighters would gladly love to be in his position.
                      His future looks BRIGHT!!!

BJS is a boxer with a very STIFF jab and respectable power. Nothing new.

But then again, HBO has been making some baffling moves lately. Who knows what they'll do.
HBO is NOT the only game in town!!

Oh and Danny Jacobs is already calling BJS out for a date on .....HBO!!!
