Oh and Danny Jacobs is already calling BJS out for a date on .....HBO!!!
Only ingenuous pseudo-experts are calling that a 'masterclass'. Let's hope Saunders accepts the Jacobs fight on.....HBO!!!

Lemieux is trash. Doesn't deserve to be on HBO again unless its as an opponent or as a PPV opener or something.
Saunders may to have the most casual-friendly style but he will be back because he's a top contender and a threat to anyone in the division. Lemieux and his delusional team have proven twice now that he is no threat to the top fighters at all.

Congratulations to Saunders on the victory, but he didn't really do himself many favors when it comes to marketing himself to a new audience.
To be fair, that much movement is out-of-character for Saunders, and it was obviously motivated by the threat of Lemieux's power. But who's to say he wouldn't flee around the ring from Golovkin in a similar unappealing way?
But then again, HBO has been making some baffling moves lately. Who knows what they'll do.

He kept Lemieux off balance to where he could set up to throw power shots for a good part of the fight and evaded the shots when Lemieux was able to throw. I suspect that even most casual fans who tuned in expecting to see a Lemieux ko were entertained by the beat down. Of course fans in the crowd rooting for Lemieux were going to boo.
then I guess you must think Yves Ulysse is Sugar Ray Robinson. Ulysse put on a similar defense-first display, but he did it much more impressively than Saunders did. They were both fighting similar fighters, but Ulysse scored three knockdowns, and actually chose to stand in front of Seldin for an entire round. Saunders was effective, but he would have stopped Lemieux if he had been more efficient (and less frightened). I understand people appreciating Saunders' recent defense-first victory, but don't try to say that Saunders is an exciting TV-friendly fighter.
