He deserves whatever he's able to negotiate.

Right now, his strategy is very clear. He takes whichever no strings attached fight pays the most. Period. If Lomachenko is ever a no strings attached fight, and it pays the most, he'll take the fight.

But Arum will never allow that.

"Rattled" seems the right term. He thought that Gamboa was his real first big test, but he wanted no part of it unless he gets overpaid. He could have beat the guy for all we know and Gamboa would have been a good name in his resume, just like Crawford's.

The Gamboa duck was certainly a surprise to many.

So he has history in pricing himself out.
