Completely insignificant and really does nothing for Garcia who really should have fought again this year and perhaps should be fighting Porter.

Having said that I think it will be a fun fight. I guess not every fight has to be a significant fight and just enjoy this for what it is. It will probably be Garcia's best performance in the last 3-4 years.

Garcia chose not fight again this year because he has other things outside of boxing he's working on. He's pretty much investing in his future after boxing and not having to depend on it. He took the time to expand his barbershop and body shop businesses, along with going out and promoting his sister's singing group. It's easy to criticize boxers now a days that aren't fighting as much like the older generation. But the smart boxers are investing their money in their future after boxing.

Hopefully Bam Bam doesn't quit like he did in the Bradley fight. He himself said he was done after that fight. Shot Rios should have fought Ortiz. Instead Danny Garcia might actually look "Swift" for the first time since Rod Salka! He didn't even look great against the feeble Vargas.
