Garcia chose not fight again this year because he has other things outside of boxing he's working on. He's pretty much investing in his future after boxing and not having to depend on it. He took the time to expand his barbershop and body shop businesses, along with going out and promoting his sister's singing group. It's easy to criticize boxers now a days that aren't fighting as much like the older generation. But the smart boxers are investing their money in their future after boxing.

Yeah, I think he's getting into real estate as well.

He posted a check of 400K that he got from selling a house a few weeks back.

Didn't realize there were so many anti-Asian and anti-White racists in this world. Racism is racism regardless of the race... it's sad that we have the equivalent of KKK members in this world in 2017.

Pacquiao fought Rios less than 5 years ago, and the once-beaten Rios was a fine opponent for Pacquiao considering that Manny was coming off a brutal KO loss to Marquez. Rios will also be a decent come-back opponent for Garcia considering he's coming off a loss and nearly a year-long hiatus. As far as I know, there is no title on the line, and nobody is calling it a clash of the titans. It's just an interesting little scrap that will be more entertaining than it is important.

I'm starting to get worried for Rios and his health. He sounds like he slurs his words and he didn't look good in his comeback. I expect for Garcia to stop Rios, just like when he was stopped against Bradley. If he loses this fight, he should retire for the good of his health.
