There were some low blows I’m not denying that in the slightest but Kovalev was clearly done in that second fight, he had nothing left by the time of the stoppage. Ward clearly won IMO, and I was heavily rooting for Kovalev. He may have used very unsportsmanlike tactics but he still clearly won the fight
Would you like to see Kovalev vs Ward 3?

You can never beat a real stubborn Slavic man like Kovalev. The Slavic mentality is if you win you celebrate if you lose deny it. People think that this is being a sore loser but it works. If you look at history, Slavic people are the only people that never accepted defeats. Serbs celebrate the battle of Kosovo as if it was their victory.
He is totally fine mentally.
Ward is more butthurt after those two fights because Kovalev doesn't want to give him any credit. Ward seeks approval from Kovalev and he won't get it. Kovalev doesn't care about what Ward thinks of him.Comment

As I’ve just said to another guy. Kovalev was completely done by the time of the stoppage and Ward’s body work had a lot more to do with that, as opposed to low blows. Ward may have used unsportsmanlike tactics but still clearly won the fight, he broke Kovalev down and stopped him, as much as we were all hoping Kovalev would ice that fallacious narcissist, it just didn’t turn out that way, and you’ve just got to accept it.sounds pretty biased towards the guy doing the low blows to me. aren't there doubts since he won because of illegal punches? also most people had kovalev winning the fight before the illegal punches so objectively what would have happened if ward had been punished for those low blows instead of rewarded? he'd be down even further and probably would have had to win by robbery again which would lead us to another horrible fight where ward can only win with cheating...and here we are. ward just cant box with kovalev. that is pretty clear. just to make it competitive he has to illegally grab and hold, lowblow, heabutt, etc...you know the routine.
I strongly dislike Ward and am a Kovalev fan, I’d have no reason to be bias towards Ward. I just call it as I see it.Comment

I also think Kov was done and the lowblows were WAY OVEREATED.Kov was really done from about 4-5 round of 1st fight. Not sayin he did not win a round but that was about time where Ward knew he could NOT outbox him.And also knew the body was his biggest weakspot. There were some low blows I’m not denying that in the slightest but Kovalev was clearly done in that second fight, he had nothing left by the time of the stoppage. Ward clearly won IMO, and I was heavily rooting for Kovalev. He may have used very unsportsmanlike tactics but he still clearly won the fightComment

Completely agree, Ward found the method to beat Kovalev. As much as I dislike Ward he’s very good at adapting and adjusting in fights.Comment
