      Jabs count as punches, ask Larry Holmes. Backing up to the ropes doesn't count as being submissive? Going for prolonged periods of time without punching scores points? He got pushed back by Golovkin to the ropes giving up the center of the ring. He got outboxed and outsmarted by Golovkin. When G got him to the ropes he took power off his punches landed scoring punches and limited Canelo's countering opportunities. Canelo didn't know what to do. Golovkin was the ring general. It's you who knows nothing about boxing. Golovkin clearly won the fight 8-4.
