Everybody wants to fight Thurman. That is because the other champ is Spence and Spence could ruin a guys career. Or at least break an eye socket. He could get lucky and get Thurman next. Vargas is really good, but he is not on the level as the top wws. I can see Vargas getting thrown to Spence. You wanna fight for a title Vargas, ok, get in the ring with Spence. No one else will.

Vargas is hot and cold but he the type of fighter If you go to sleep on him like Ali did you can get beat..

One thing about Thurman he's about 5 7 1/2 and Vargas is about 5'10 5'11 so I doubt Thurman wants to jump in there with someone that size coming off elbow surgery..

Deep down I think when Thurman finally does come back he's not the fighter he was before. He's been out the ring too long stays injured is approaching 30 got married and has seen millions he's whole demeanor isn't even the same anymore...Then with his style he has more athleticism than boxing skills like RJJ..
