I honestly think Vargas is better than Porter and Garcia in terms of IQ.

Those guys have him in physicality and some power...

But I do think Vargas has more dimensions to his game than both Swift and Porter.

Oh Boy!!!! This could make things real interesting. The proverbial "throwing a wrench in the gearbox" scenario. If Vargas can pull out an upset, he will have to go to the body hard and often to do so. Thurman doesn't seem to fend off punishing body shots too well when hit with a good shot. Kind of a surprise Thurman chose Vargas as a return to action fight so I have to give him some credit. Som other "elite" fighters would opt for a cherry pic in this situation. Makes me wonder how things could shake out with Spence and Crawford in the ww running if Vargas can take the win. Excited to see his bout for sure!!

Ok fight better than a lot out there, Thurman is on a different level to this guy though. He certainly can not afford any slip ups here Vargas can capitalise, pretty high on him since He beat Khabib but he has limitations.

Vargas top 2 opponents (Pacquiao & Bradley) are better, tougher as compared to Thurman's (Porter & Garcia).

He saw the final bell against Manny and Bradley and finished strong. Both fighters are better than Keef.
