Lomachenko was a 135 lb equavalent fighter in olympics yet as a pro hes fought nothing but midgets & bums coming off horrible losses at lower weights.

You always run away after I use facts to negate your usual biased bs, despite you often replying to my posts 1st
You sound so dumb. Mikey doesn't have a single win the quality of Rigondeaux or Gary Russell. And if Mikey ever did fight someone like Gary Russell in his weight class, he would have a puncher's chance and that's it, because the speed disparity would be significant. Lomachenko has a better resumé in 10 fights than Mikey does in almost 40. And no, Mikey is not already a 1st ballot HOFer LOL. When your best win is Adrien Broner, come on now. Or do you think that because he's won paper titles in multiple divisions? In that case Ricky Burns and Broner are also going to the Hall of Fame LOL. Don't be a fanboy. Lomachenko's resumé is way better than Mikey's so far, and if you think different, tell Mikey to prove it and stop running from Lomachenko. It's a bad look for Mikey to be ducking someone way smaller than him.

Damn. You ethered him again, and really bad this time. I guess he doesnt even know that amateur fights are more regular so you can't drain as much, and guys usually start out at lower weights in the pros than they fought at in amateurs. It's only something to criticize when guys are huge weight bullies like Ward, Crawford, Mikey, and Canelo who walk around 20 to 35 pounds higher than they fight at. When Ward walked around at 200 but fought at 168, that was bull****. When Crawford walked around at 165 - 170 but fought at 140, even though he weighed 160 in the ring, that was bull****. Lomachenko on the other hand weighed in at 130, but fought at 138 in the ring. To be a modern lightweight in the pros, you need to walk around at 150 pounds at least. So Lomachenko would need to gain 10 pounds of muscle just to fight at 135. That's not easy to do. I hope we see him try soon, but he will have to be an all time great in terms of skill to be able to compete at 135 against guys who naturally have 10 pounds more muscle than him as well as height and reach. But Loma is so good, he could probably still pull it off.

First off, none of his Showtime fights have delivered box office type ratings. His fight with Broner did get 881K, but that was mainly due to Broner. His previous fight with Zlaticanin did 544K, and his Rojas fight also did less. He puts up respectable numbers, but nothing outstanding. It's not like he's getting 2M viewers like Canelo did vs. Kirkland on regular HBO.

Second, and this is important no matter how much people deny it, he's ugly. He's not a pretty looking guy to become a star. That matters. That's why, again, Canelo is so popular.

Third, he doesn't have a huge following. He only has 71K twitter followers, and only about 127K instagram followers. Those are respectable, but compare that to other fighters who aren't even considered superstars in boxing. Social media following is important, no matter how much people try to down play it.

4th, he's never been on PPV before. At 30 years old, there is no reason to suggest he'll become a PPV star either.

Arum tried his best with Mikey. Arum is the best promoter of all time. If you're a Mexican, and even he can't make you a star, then no one can. They had a falling out because Mikey thought he was bigger than he really was and Arum basically told him he wasn't.
        U can't be serious ?
        R u only going by tenure ?

Let's remember this is the same promoter who couldn't promote Floyd, but when Floyd left, he became the top PPV draw of all times.

In the last 5 years this dude fought Burgos, Rojas, Zlaticanin, Broner and now Lipinets. Thats surely a resume to be remembered for. LOL.

I like Mikey but he's being ridiculous. Everytime superstardom has been on the cusp he finds excuses or leaves the sport. This guy has never been in a 50-50 fight, he's cherry picked his way to almost 40 fights.

There's 3 Americans in the game right now that I'm following: Crawford, Wilder, and Mikey Garcia.

Hey it is possible. The problem is he has to move up to 147 and beat the top guys there. If he can't do that, the only ppv's he will ever be on is as an undercard. Gotta like Garcia though. I was actually rooting for AB before the fight, but it is hard not to like watching Mikey fight. If Garcia beats Lipinets and Linares, then there are only ww's. Lomachenko don't want none of Garcia, that's for sure. In fact, Loma would probably rather face Danny Garcia instead of Mikey. Hey, that would be a great fight, Garcia-Garcia. I'd bet my money on Mikey in that fight.

I have seen that same argument from dudes lately. They say Loma is fighting lighter as a pro and beating on smaller guys.

My response is yup so far that's true, and it is a shame Andre Ward fought his entire Pro career below his amateur weight
